What equipment do you use?

We use Sony broadcast quality 3x CCD video cameras. We use twin radio microphones for sound recording. Editing is done on two computers running a variety of editing programmes including Adobe Premier, MGI Videowave and Adobe Photoshop for stills work. A Nikon Digital SLR is used for the stills photography.

Will you stick out like a sore thumb?

No. At formal events like a wedding, we will wear suits with button holes etc. and will tend to blend into the guests.

Do we require a license for music?

Yes a license is required for any music recorded onto a video including incidental music that may be recorded by accident e.g. a disco. But DON'T WORRY! we take care of all license requirements.

What about unexpected mishaps?

We carry enough batteries that our cameras can run for over 24 hours without requiring re-charge.
We use DVcam digital video tapes which provide far better quality than normal miniDV tapes thereby minimising the chances of drop out.
Unfortunately life is life and occasionally unexpected disasters do happen. We do carry normal digital video cameras as spares so that whatever happens your wedding or event will be recorded.
If anything goes wrong and we have to use our backup equipment - you will NOT be charged for the event recording*.
